Pricing
Pricing is coming with v0.3.
The v0.3 hosted preview is free to evaluate. You can issue an unlimited number of demo receipts from the live preview at no cost. There is no signup, no credit card, no plan.
What you'll pay for, when the paid plans land
The planned pricing model has three tiers, designed around the use case rather than the receipt count:
Developer
For solo builders. A single tenant, 10k receipts/month, the full API, the SDKs, the webhooks. Self-serve.
Indicative: from $0/mo for the first 1k receipts, then pay-as-you-go.
Team
For product teams. Multi-tenant, SSO, audit-export, custom retention, webhook retries. Email support.
Indicative: flat monthly fee, billed per seat or per tenant. Final pricing lands with v0.3.
Enterprise
For compliance-heavy buyers. BYOK signing keys, HSM integration, EU-only data residency, white-label verifier, dedicated support.
Contact for a quote. Self-hosting is also an option.
All numbers above are placeholders. Real pricing ships with v0.3, expected late July 2026. If you want to be notified when paid plans open, follow the spec repo or open an issue on it.
Self-hosting
The receipt format is open. The reference verifier is Apache-2.0. You can run your own receipt server using the public spec, with no relationship to the hosted product, forever. The hosted product adds convenience (the API, the SDKs, the webhooks, the audit export), not lock-in.
For the spec-implementer crowd
If you are implementing the spec in another language, the spec and all 5 reference verifiers are free to use under Apache-2.0. There is no fee to implement the format. The hosted product is for people who don't want to run their own Ed25519 key envelope, D1, and webhook delivery system.
